Enterprise Challenge

The Enterprise Challenge is a programme of the King’s Trust International (KTI) developed to encourage young people to cultivate entrepreneurial spirit and business knowledge. The programme involves young people working in teams to play an online business simulation game with support from a business mentor who takes them through the stages of setting up and running a successful business.

Through the business simulation game and the competition, young people experience a realistic business scenario where they produce, develop and market a new product via a unique business simulation game. Top teams are invited to a national finals event to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges and compete for attractive prize money, hence encouraging and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.

After the programme is delivered, the winners are guided in setting up their proposed ventures, with mentoring support. Ultimately, young people who participate in the programme are able to increase their knowledge of corporate ethical strategies and basic business concepts.

YOTA is implementing the Enterprise Challenge in three schools in Ghana, namely, the Design Technology Institute, Accra Institute of Technology, and the Accra Technical University.
