ANNOUNCEMENT
Job Search Clinic
At YOTA, we believe every young person deserves a second chance. Our work is driven by a commitment to support young people who have been left out of education, employment, or training, and to provide them with practical opportunities to rebuild confidence, skills, and pathways into the labour market.
Supporting young people to re-enter the job market with confidence
Many young people across the country are eager to work but remain excluded from the formal labour market. Thousands are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), often due to limited job readiness skills, lack of guidance, and minimal access to practical job search support. Without targeted intervention, these young people risk long-term unemployment and economic exclusion.
YOTA’s Job Search Clinic is designed to address this challenge head-on. The Clinic is a 5-day, in-person capacity-building programme, run quarterly, comprising 20 young people in each cohort. Through this campaign, we target long-term unemployed youth facing repeated job rejections, first-time job seekers with limited job search skills, and senior high school leavers without job experience, equipping them with the essential skills, confidence, and support needed to prepare for the job market and successfully integrate into the formal sector.
The Clinic is designed to be practical, interactive, and tailored to the realities of today’s job market. It provides an intensive, supportive environment where participants gain practical job search skills and personalised guidance to improve their employability.
